New to Yoga?
Yoga can be a little intimidating at the start. Here are some tips to ensure you're prepared for your first visit.
Make sure you are well hydrated. Drink 1-2 litres of water throughout the day before coming to class. Don’t eat a full meal at least 2 hours before class – the emptier your stomach, the more enjoyable your practice will be. For AntiGravity Yoga, it’s best to have a little something in the tummy, but not a full belly.
We recommend wearing something light and comfortable such as shorts, capris, leggings, singlet tops, sport bras, or stretchy gym wear. Please avoid sweats, track pants, and heavy t-shirts as we heat the room. Bring a change of clothing, a towel for a shower if you wish, and a plastic bag for sweaty clothes!
If you have any injuries or pre-existing medical issues (e.g. low blood pressure, heart conditions, etc.), please ensure that you let the teacher know before the beginning of each class.
Arrive 15 minutes early for your first class with an open mind and ready to enjoy the challenge of class. If you show up after class starts, you will not be able to enter as the doors will be locked.

- Yoga mat – BYO or available for rental $2

- Water – We only have a filtered water cooler so bring your drink bottle
